Everyone is welcome. Nobody is perfect. Anything is possible.
We want everyone who walks through the doors of 5699 Creek Road to experience and encounter Jesus in a real and life-changing way. If you hang around even for a little bit, you’ll probably hear someone say “Everyone is welcome. Nobody is perfect. Anything is possible.” It’s our mantra, and we believe it with all of our hearts.
Our mission is to love and lead people into fully engaged lives with Christ. We believe that a person who is living a fully engaged life with Christ is a disciple—a person who has been reconciled into relationship with God through new birth by trust in the gospel and is subsequently growing in a love for God and love for others. A person who is not a consumer, but a contributor.
At Passion, we believe that the church isn’t a building or an event. We are a people—the body of Christ! Our church is full of ordinary, imperfect people, and we hope that makes you feel all the more welcome.
Our mission comes straight out of Matthew 28:19-20:
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
-Matthew 28:19-20 ESV
We believe that God has called us to accomplish that mission through the following values:
REACH: We will do what it takes to reach people who need to know Jesus.
1 Corinthians 9:19-23; Acts 15:19; Mark 2:1-12
LIVE: We will share our lives with open hands in our community.
1 John 3:16; Mark 2:1-12
GIVE: We will be radical in our generosity.
Acts 20:35; Romans 8:32; John 3:16
CHANGE: We believe the gospel will change every part of our lives and we’ll live as though it has.
Philippians 3:7-9; 2 Corinthians 5:17
RISK: We will think big and aim high, knowing we serve a big God who is capable of accomplishing the impossible.
Deuteronomy 10:17; Psalm 147:5; Matthew 19:26; Ephesians 3:20
